Yahshikiah Hughes is a high spirited, energetic, sought after anointed vessel of God who is being used as a Pastor, Motivational Speaker, Educator, Leadership Trainer, and Author to transform lives and show people how to live in purpose. She is no stranger to hardship, brokenness and despair, with circumstances thrusted upon her, both parents addicted to drugs and regular periods of incarceration, Yahshikiah through perseverance, determination and God, she overcame!  Her life's mission is to help others be healed, be whole and walk boldly in the newness of self.  

 

With more than ten years experience as a leadership trainer, educator, and faith-based preacher, Yahshikiah couples her counseling degree with biblical doctrine, transparency and high energy messages to equip people for greatness. Living a life of freedom and greatness has been her most powerful struggle and reward, which is why Yahshikiah dedicates her life to seeing others go from pain to purpose, doubt to destiny and victim to victor. Because of this she founded  Made for Purpose,  LLC. She is particularly passionate about helping women understand their purpose, developing a healthy sense of self worth and esteem,  empowering them to embrace life challenges as opportunities of growth and become everything that God intended for them to be. 

 

Yahshikiah, a native of Philadelphia, PA  is a devoted wife, mother, educator, and leader, “Lady Yah” as she is affectionately called by her congregants serves as Assistant Pastor along side her husband Kevin Hughes, Sr.  Founder and Senior Pastor of Kingdom Vision Family Worship Center. of Dover DE, where the couple lives with their children.
